Galvanized Gabion Box Information:

Gabion box are wire containers made of hexagonal wire netting.wire diameter vareies with the hexagonal nettings.

For hexagonal wire netting with pvc cpating,the wire diameter ranges from 2.00mm to 4.0mm.For those pvc coated hexagonal wire netting,the outside diameter range from 3.0mm to 4.0mm.the wire of the outside frame edge is one wire gauge thicker than the wire used for hexagonal wire netting.

1. Materials of gabion mesh:

A.hot-dip galvanized low carbon steel wire.
B.Zinc-5%Al or10%Al-mixed rare earth alloy coating, also named Galfan. lifetime 3times min than hot-dip galvanized gabion.
C.PVC coated , PVC coated on hot-dip galvanized steel wire and Galfan, many kinds of color.
D.Tensile strength:
350-500Mpa,Elongation ≥12%,according to EN10223-3
zinc coating: mesh wire≥230g/M2,selvedge wire≥245g/M2,lacing wire ≥230g/M2

A.corrosion- resistant, rust-resistant.

B.oxidation –resistant, good tensile strength.
C.uniform mesh size, flat and even mesh surface, weave tightly.
D.galvanized /pvc coated for longer life, low costs
E.easy to handle and cut.

3. Function of gabion mesh:

It is widely used in petroleum, construction, farming, chemical industry, heating pipes and other pipes parcel wire mesh.

It can be used to make stone wire mesh cages, which are widely used to protect and support the seawall, hillsides, road and bridge, reservoirs and other civil engineering, also it is the best material for flood.
